Race headquarters is the Lewis & Clark
Outfitters Springdale, Arkansas location.
An urban adventure race that will consist of
orienteering, mountain biking, trekking, water elements, rope work,
and mystery events. Individual and two-person teams will navigate
using a map and compass to Checkpoints (CP) along the entire course.
The course will cover wooded and urban terrain in Fayetteville and
Springdale city limits. Support crews are not allowed.
A 3 to 6 hour course which will cover 6 to
10 miles of hiking/running terrain and 15 to 20 miles of biking
trails and paddling elements. Competitors should be prepared for
single-track mountain biking, hilly terrain, rope elements and mystery
events. This course is geared to people looking for a challenge,
but that will not take them outside the city limits. A great first-time
urban adventure race course for a team or a really hard workout
for the experienced individual.
It is the big bad uncle of the "old"
Lewis & Clark Urban Adventure Race. The Ozark Adventure Race
will be a challenging adventure race in the Ozark Mountains of Northwest
Arkansas which will cover 50+ miles of rugged terrain. For more
